A World Is Created Through Words

I created this mandala as a strengthening reminder of the power we hold in the way we use our words.

In the biblical story, it is said: “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Creation happens through the spoken word.

Ancient writings from many cultures give deep significance to language. Throughout history, words have destroyed and built, shaped reality, and left their mark.

In a single moment, a kind word can change how someone feels. In a moment, the right words can create closeness; the absence of words, or words that miss the heart of things, can create distance and pain. That is why it is worth remembering the power of our language, so we can use it for our own good, for the good of those we love, and in service of what we wish to bring into being in our lives.

The Power of Words

The words we speak affect us deeply, first of all because we are always hearing ourselves. There is a part of consciousness that records everything, continuously—both consciously and unconsciously. That part listens to us.

Are we speaking from lack, or from a sense of presence and possibility? What we live with inwardly often finds its reflection in daily life, and over time, in the wider picture of our lives.

Our words influence this more than we may realize. At times, מתוך habit, lack of awareness, low self-worth, or simple distraction, we use language that does not match the life experience we truly want to create.

This mandala was created as an important reminder: our world is shaped, in part, by our words. It is wise to use them with awareness and care.
